Move it 2018

A week of dancing, making new friends and trying new things! Move It 2018 is open to all dancers aged 7 years and above wanting to have some fun these school holidays. At Move It there will be jazz, lyrical, hip hop, funk, contemporary, salsa, tumbling, ballet, dance fit and more! All taught by young, talented choreographers in one hour blocks. Choose to attend the classes YOU want to do!

Kid’s Art Festival

Some of our soloists and groups from Studio Move will be performing at the Kid’s Art Festival 2018. We invite all our studio family and friends to come watch their work that they will showcase and enjoy the day at the festival. Due to the large scale of this event, we cannot run any Saturday classes on this day.

All that glitters

All Studio Move dancers, friends and family are invited to our mid-year party! Picture ceiling-hung bunting, fairy lights, photo booths, hair braiding station, body glitter, balloon garlands, grazing platters, dessert tables and more. An evening of heaps of fun with our studio family PLUS the opportunity to support our senior troupe going to nationals in October.

Cost: Tickets $5 (one free parent ticket with each child under 10)

Musical theatre - open classes

Want to be a part of our mid-year show? Or add another item to your list? Join our musical theatre open group in term 2 for only $45! Open to all dancers aged 6+ years. *Must attend all five workshops and the show rehearsal.

When: Saturday 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 10:30-11:30am

Lights, Camera, Action!

Preparations for our mid-year show will be well underway in term 2! ALL of our students, from our toddlers to our older adults, will be involved in our movie themed, dance extravaganza. There will be a rehearsal for all dancers on the day from 10am-1pm. All dancers will then need to return by 5:45pm. Hair and make-up station open from 4:00pm - $5/dancer.

National Young Performer of the year Award (NYPA) 2018

Our senior troupe, Symphony, will be representing Studio Move at nationals from October 17-21. We are very excited for them to be going and are so proud! Due to a number of our teachers and student teachers being in this group, some classes may be affected over the period they are away. If this will be your/your child’s class, you will be notified at least three weeks in advance.
